The Tierra Verde Community, located on the southernmost tip of Pinellas County, Florida, is a residential community boasting extremely high-end single family homes and luxury condominiums. Tierra Verde is part of unincorporated Pinellas County and serves as the gateway to the award winning beach, Fort DeSoto. Tierra Verde was once 15 islands covered with dense foliage. These islands range in size from only a few acres to the largest, Cabbage Key, having over 289 acres. For centuries, Native Americans used the islands for ceremonial purposes.
